UMass Memorial Doula Program: UMass Memorial Medical Center actively integrates doulas into their maternity care teams to ensure birthing people feel welcomed, supported, and heard during labor and delivery.
MassHealth Doula Coverage: As a MassHealth-enrolled provider, I am thrilled that Massachusetts now covers doula services for eligible members during pregnancy, labor, and up to 12 months postpartum! If you have MassHealth, your doula care can be fully covered.
MCPAP for Moms (Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Program): While this is a provider-facing tool (855-MOM-MCPAP), it is vital for you to know about it. If you are struggling with your mental health, ask your OB/GYN, midwife, or pediatrician to utilize MCPAP for Moms. It connects your primary care provider directly with perinatal psychiatric specialists to quickly get you the treatment you need.
